 LAWMA Waste, Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement operatives on night duty have apprehended two environmental offenders along the Jibowu and Ojota corridors of Ikorodu Road for engaging in illegal waste collection and indiscriminate disposal of refuse at unauthorized locations. The suspects, were arrested during routine surveillance operations after being found carrying out activities that constitute environmental nuisance and undermine approved waste management processes, despite repeated warnings and sensitization efforts. The offenders are being transferred to the Oshodi Task Force Office for prosecution through the Mobile Court in accordance with the environmental protection laws of Lagos State. LAWMA reiterates that illegal waste collection and indiscriminate dumping remain punishable offences.  PDP Governors’ Forum pays condolence visit to Makinde over brother’s passing


Peoples Democratic Party, Governors Forum, have joined scores of mourners to pay condolences visit on Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, over the demise of his sibling, Engineer Sunday Makinde.


Bauchi State Governor, cum Chairman of the forum, Bala Mohammed and Rivers state’s Governor, Siminalaye Fubara, who doubled as the vice Chairman, brought the condolence message of the forum to Governor Makinde at his Ikolaba residence.


Delivering the message, Governor Mohammed, said despite knowing Governor Makinde to be a strong person, there is need to show solidarity to the bereaved as an African tradition.


According to Governor Mohammed, the deceased, Engineer Sunday Makinde lived a fulfilled life, having contributed positively to the growth and development of Nigeria.


The Bauchi state Governor, prayed God to give Governor Makinde, immediate family of the deceased and people of the state, fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.


Responding, Governor Makinde, admitting that God is unquestionable, said the inevitable occurred to his brother when he was about to settle down and enjoy life.


Governor Makinde, on behalf of Makinde family and people of Oyo State appreciated the PDP Governors Forum for visit.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
