 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.  PDP Governors’ Forum pays condolence visit to Makinde over brother’s passing


Peoples Democratic Party, Governors Forum, have joined scores of mourners to pay condolences visit on Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, over the demise of his sibling, Engineer Sunday Makinde.


Bauchi State Governor, cum Chairman of the forum, Bala Mohammed and Rivers state’s Governor, Siminalaye Fubara, who doubled as the vice Chairman, brought the condolence message of the forum to Governor Makinde at his Ikolaba residence.


Delivering the message, Governor Mohammed, said despite knowing Governor Makinde to be a strong person, there is need to show solidarity to the bereaved as an African tradition.


According to Governor Mohammed, the deceased, Engineer Sunday Makinde lived a fulfilled life, having contributed positively to the growth and development of Nigeria.


The Bauchi state Governor, prayed God to give Governor Makinde, immediate family of the deceased and people of the state, fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.


Responding, Governor Makinde, admitting that God is unquestionable, said the inevitable occurred to his brother when he was about to settle down and enjoy life.


Governor Makinde, on behalf of Makinde family and people of Oyo State appreciated the PDP Governors Forum for visit.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
