CURBING OPEN DEFECATION: LASG, WATERAID, PRIVATE SECTOR COLLABORATE TO BUILD 350 PUBLIC TOILETS IN LAGOS  The Lagos State Government, in collaboration with WaterAid Plan and private operators, is set to build 350 more public toilets across the state to curb widespread open defecation and maintain hygiene and sanitation.  This is just as the State WaterAid team lead gave a projection that by 2028, the organisation will reach 10 million residents directly and another 17 million indirectly through interventions with basic Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) access. 'PEOPLE ARE STRUGGLING WITH HUNGER, POVERTY'- US CONTENT CREATOR,VICKY LAMENTS AFTER VISITING NIGERIA. (PHOTO).

ā€˜People are struggling with hunger, povertyā€™ ā€“ US content creator, Vicky laments after visiting Nigeria

American content creator, Woah Vicky has shared her observations after a visit to Nigeria.

Vicky recently visited Lagos State, Nigeria.

While acknowledging Lagosā€™ bustling nightlife, she stated that many people in Nigeria are struggling with hunger and poverty.

In a post on her X handle, she further called for tangible support for Nigeria to address poverty.

ā€œI recently visited Lagos, Nigeria, and while it is known for its nightlife and clubs, I could not help but notice the bigger picture.

ā€œSo many people there are struggling with hunger and poverty.

ā€œIt is heartbreaking, sad to see visitors focusing on the parties only when thereā€™s such a clear need for help. Nigeria needs prayer, missions, and tangible support, not just tourism for entertainment.

ā€œLetā€™s pray for this country and find ways to contribute to real change.ā€

BLOGGER :  Dear Vicky, what is paining me about your lies is that, you are yet to take your cameras to Queens in New York to film all those sleeping on the road and other parts of the country.

Nigeria is not poor, we lack a good manager (Govt). Everywhere in the world, we have the rich, middle class and the poor. Start from your own country, we Nigerians also travel, so we also see poor people in your country.
