 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

  President Tinubu Appoints Abba Abubakar Aliyu as REA Managing Director


President Bola Tinubu has appointed Abba Abubakar Aliyu as the substantive Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).  


His appointment comes as part of the administration’s efforts to enhance rural electrification and improve energy access across underserved communities in Nigeria. Aliyu is expected to lead initiatives aimed at expanding electricity infrastructure and fostering sustainable development in rural areas.  


Further details on his tenure and objectives are expected in due course.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
