BRAKE FAILURE CITED AS CAUSE OF ACCIDENT INVOLVING SECURITY OFFICERS IN ABIA- FRSC. (PHOTO).

  The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Abia State Command, Ngozi Ezeoma, has confirmed the death of one security personnel in a single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on 30th March, 2025, involving a vehicle from the joint task force of Operation Crush, at Isieke along the Umuahia-Bende road. According to Ezeoma in a statement, the accident was caused by brake failure. The vehicle veered off the road and fell into a ditch, leaving eight officers with varying degrees of injury. The injured officers were rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Umuahia by the Police before the arrival of the FRSC. Unfortunately, the deceased officer was taken to the mortuary. The wreckage of the patrol van has since been recovered from the ditch.

 ICYMI: A 47-year-old police Sergeant, attached to Rooiberg police station brutally murdered in her house last night 


It's alleged that she returned home last night, 25 January 2025 with her 43-year-old boyfriend, Malebye Ben Molefe, and today in the morning, her lifeless body was discovered by her 6-year-old grandson.


At that time both the boyfriend and the Sergeant's vehicle were missing. Later, her vehicle was found abandoned about 50 kilometers away from her home, along Thabazimbi road near Koedoeskop.


Those who are near Molefe, tell him that he can run but he can't hide.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
