 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  SECURITY: LAGOS EQUIPS LNSA OFFICERS WITH MORE OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT 


The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan has warned officers of the Corps to treat Government equipment in their possession with care. 


Oyekan said this while speaking with the Commanding Officers of the various Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas during the distribution of additional equipment to them. 


"Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has been very gracious to this Agency and its Corps, and we owe the people of Lagos State to be diligent at our work while also protecting the equipment put at our disposal", he said. 


All the 57 LG and LCDA Commands of the Corps arm of the Agency received tools and a host of other equipment, which includes Flashlights, Intelligence Pen Recorders, Binoculars with Night Vision capacity, and Megaphones to enhance their Community engagement programmes and capabilities.
