 Rema Becomes First African Artist on Rolling Stone Cover Nigerian music star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has made history as the first African artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The American publication, renowned for its coverage of music, politics, and pop culture, announced Rema as the cover star for its April 2025 edition. Mavin Records celebrated the achievement on Instagram, calling him the “Afrobeats Visionary.” Following the announcement, Rema delivered an electrifying performance at the Rolling Stone concert, thrilling audiences with hits like Dumebi, Woman, and Calm Down.  Three Clubs Eyeing Marcus Rashford's Departure from Manchester United


At least three clubs are actively pursuing Marcus Rashford, who appears poised to leave Manchester United either in January or during the summer transfer window.


The 27-year-old forward has fallen out of favor with new manager Ruben Amorim, having been excluded from the matchday squad for five consecutive games.


Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that “movements” are already underway regarding Rashford's potential move.


Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have both inquired about the possibility of securing the England international, while Turkish champions Galatasaray have also shown interest.


Romano shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday: “As expected, movements around Marcus Rashford have begun. Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have both asked for the deal's conditions. Further discussions are planned, and Galatasaray has also approached Rashford this week, but he’s prioritizing other top 5 league options at the moment.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
