 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC). "We have made a collective decision: no electricity, no vote," said community leader Lesiba Rankapole, 59. "We know it is illegal, but we had no choice because we cannot live without electricity.  Vice President Of Equatorial Guinea Takes His Harley Davidson Bike For A Spin On The Highway


Vice President of Equatorial Guinea Teodorin Obiang Nguema who is also the son of President Obiang Nguema takes his Harley Davidson bike for a spin on the busy highway.


Known for his stylish lifestyle, the 56 year old is never shy to flaunt some of his rides on his official social media pages.

It comes few days after Teddy shared a video of himself arriving an event in a $3million Bugatti Chiron hypercar.

He has shared videos of himself arriving in style at official events in Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 sedan and the Cullinan SUV


Teddy has served as the first vice president since 22 June 2016. He is also the son of Equatorial Guinea President, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. While most African leaders use Mercedes S-Class and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class as official cars, Teddy rides in customized Rolls-Royces.
