  Abakaliki, Ebonyi State - In a shocking move, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has ordered the arrest of six commissioners and the suspension of the Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, Mr. Timothy Nwachi, over alleged involvement in a breach of contract for the construction of 140 housing units for Izzo and Amaze communities. The affected commissioners, who were declared wanted by the state government before their arrest, are: - Professor Omari Omaka (Tertiary Education) - Victor Chukwu (Environment) - Ifeanyi Ogbuewu (Culture and Tourism) - Uchenna Igwe (Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters) - Moses Ekuma (Health) - Felix Igboke (Project Monitoring) According to the Chairman of the State Executive Council Committee on Izzo and Amaze Housing Project, Ilang Donatus, the governor took the action due to the slow pace of work on the project, which was intended to be completed in time for his two-year anniversary in office.  Vice President Of Equatorial Guinea Takes His Harley Davidson Bike For A Spin On The Highway


Vice President of Equatorial Guinea Teodorin Obiang Nguema who is also the son of President Obiang Nguema takes his Harley Davidson bike for a spin on the busy highway.


Known for his stylish lifestyle, the 56 year old is never shy to flaunt some of his rides on his official social media pages.

It comes few days after Teddy shared a video of himself arriving an event in a $3million Bugatti Chiron hypercar.

He has shared videos of himself arriving in style at official events in Rolls-Royce Phantom 8 sedan and the Cullinan SUV


Teddy has served as the first vice president since 22 June 2016. He is also the son of Equatorial Guinea President, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. While most African leaders use Mercedes S-Class and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class as official cars, Teddy rides in customized Rolls-Royces.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
