 A popular content creator has died from surgery complication     Esther Thomas, popularly known as Sunshine, was a Nigerian content creator, skit maker, and brand influencer. She died on Friday, 9 January 2026, after complications from fibroid surgery. She had been complaining of serious stomach pain from late December 2025.     Sunshine was first admitted at Orchid General Hospital in Lagos, where her friends said she was only given pain relief drugs because doctors were on strike. Her condition did not improve, so she was moved to another hospital on 2 January 2026, where tests showed she had a large fibroid and surgery was carried out. She later developed complications and died. After her death, friends blamed Orchid General Hospital online, saying she was neglected and did not receive proper treatment early enough.  16 Years Old Boy Stabbed his Grandmother to Death and ran away with ₦4 million Naira and Gold Jewelry . 


The people of Pako Police Station, Amukoko Roundabout under Ajeromi Ifelodun local Government area, Lagos has been mourning a Business women and grandma who was stabbed by her grandson to death and ran a way with 4Million Naira and Gold Jewelry.


According to sources, the boy was leaving with his grandmother who mostly travels to Cotonou,Benin Republic to buy goods and sell in Nigeria.


On Friday the 21st of February 2025,the grandmother was set to travel to Cotonou the next day (Saturday), when her grandson noticed she was in possession of N4 million naira . He decide to stab his grandma to death on Friday night and escaped with the money and Gold Jewelry.


Nobody notice the death of the grandma on till Sunday 23rd of February 2025 which is 3days after when one of the family members payed the grandma a visit.It was now clear to the relative that the grandmother was dead because she was found in her pool of blood with three knifes. 

The grandson has been declared wanted.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
