Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive.  16 Years Old Boy Stabbed his Grandmother to Death and ran away with ₦4 million Naira and Gold Jewelry . 


The people of Pako Police Station, Amukoko Roundabout under Ajeromi Ifelodun local Government area, Lagos has been mourning a Business women and grandma who was stabbed by her grandson to death and ran a way with 4Million Naira and Gold Jewelry.


According to sources, the boy was leaving with his grandmother who mostly travels to Cotonou,Benin Republic to buy goods and sell in Nigeria.


On Friday the 21st of February 2025,the grandmother was set to travel to Cotonou the next day (Saturday), when her grandson noticed she was in possession of N4 million naira . He decide to stab his grandma to death on Friday night and escaped with the money and Gold Jewelry.


Nobody notice the death of the grandma on till Sunday 23rd of February 2025 which is 3days after when one of the family members payed the grandma a visit.It was now clear to the relative that the grandmother was dead because she was found in her pool of blood with three knifes. 

The grandson has been declared wanted.
