 Family seeks help as kidnapper abducts five-year-old daughter in Lagos The family of Memunah Abdulrahman is appealing to the public for assistance after their five-year-old daughter was abducted by a suspected kidnapper in the Ejigbo area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt on Tuesday that the missing girl was abducted on March 9, 2025, while she and her sister were returning from an Islamic school. According to sources, upon reaching a popular supermarket in the community, the suspect approached Abdulrahman and her sister and led them inside the store. While pretending to buy them some items at the supermarket, PUNCH Metro gathered that the suspect disappeared with Memunah, leaving her sister behind. After the incident was reported at the Ejigbo Divisional Police Headquarters, the police reviewed the CCTV footage, which revealed the suspect abducting the child and escaping in a tricycle. A 15-YEAR-OLD OHIO BOY HAS BEEN ARRESTED AFTER FATALLY SHOOTING HIS MOTHER'S DOCUMENTED ABUSIVE BOYFRIEND. (PHOTO).

 A 15-year-old Ohio boy has been arrested after fatally shooting his mother's documented abusive boyfriend. 


Cincinnati deputies had already been to the home earlier in the day and charged 30-year-old Levonte Hyde with domestic violence only hours before the teenager meted out his own form of justice. 


According to reports,  Hyde and the 15-year-olds mother were on their way to the grocery store when an argument erupted when Hyde called the mother a vulgar name. As the argument escalated, Hyde allegedly punched the woman several times in the face. Officers noted she had injuries to her face. 


A warrant was placed for Hyde to be arrested. Details are emerging and it appears as if Mr. Hyde was hiding after the incident. The courts also requested an order of protection for the victim.


There were years of abuse before this that were well documented. But this was apparently the last straw for the teenage son. A short while after the domestic incident, officers were called to the home where they discovered Hyde suffering from 12 gunshot wounds. Hyde was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Thursday morning. (Last Thursday)


The 15-year-old was first taken into custody as a person of interest before being officially charged with murder. A magistrate has ruled the boy must stay in the Detention Center  at least until his next hearing on March 3rd.


I can only imagine what was going through the 15-year-old's mind. I assume he was sick of seeing his mother bitten and punched. I'm not justifying his actions by any means but I'm merely trying to understand it from his position.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
