 Nigerian makes US Most Wanted List over $1m fraud A Nigerian, Onoriode Ezewu, has been named on the United States Department of Labour’s first-ever Most Wanted List over allegations of money laundering involving fraudulent unemployment benefit claims worth more than $1m. The department’s Office of Inspector General unveiled the list on its website on Wednesday, naming 16 fugitives wanted in cases involving alleged fraud, identity theft, money laundering, labour trafficking and other offences. According to the agency, the cases collectively involve more than $55m allegedly stolen from American taxpayers. A BILL TO AMEND THE LANDLORD AND TENANT LAW OF ENUGU STARE HAS BEEN READ FOR THE FIRST TIME. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Today, a bill for a Law to amend the Landlord and Tenant Law of Enugu State has been read for the first time in the Enugu State House of Assembly. Among other things, the Law seeks to:


1) Ensure that anyone who wishes to be a land agent/manager must be certified


2) That there is a 10% ceiling for both Agency and Legal fees, the percentage can be negotiated lesser but never above 10%


3) That the tradition of caution fee be prohibited


4) That a defined duration for notices is stipulated


5) That a government ministry or agency is given the powers to make further regulations on Housing issues in Enugu State
