 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. ABIA GOV. OTTI VOWS NOT TO NEGOTIATE WITH CRIMINAL POLITICIANS. (PHOTO).

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has taken a firm stance against negotiating with individuals he describes as "criminals" who have destroyed the state in the past. Otti made this declaration during two separate church services at The Master's Vessel Church and Power World Ministry Int'l in Umuahia on Sunday.


According to Otti, these individuals are now resorting to blackmail and spreading falsehoods against his administration after their attempts to negotiate and secure inclusion in governance failed. Otti emphasized that his administration will not engage with these individuals, stating, "We are not doing anything wrong. Ours is a government that has integrity; we will never negotiate with criminals".¹


Otti's administration is focused on restoring the culture of hard work and contentment among the people of Abia. To achieve this, they are creating an enabling environment that allows citizens to pursue decent livelihoods and take pride in their work and businesses.


One notable initiative is the declaration of free and compulsory education at the basic and secondary school levels. This has led to a massive enrollment of pupils and students in public schools, resulting in significant pressure on the state's educational facilities.
