Blaming opposition for hunger is ‘delusion’, Atiku tells Tinubu Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of blaming the opposition for the country’s economic hardship. He said the President was trying to evade responsibility for his administration’s policies. Tinubu had earlier on Saturday blamed his political opponents for hunger and poverty in the country while speaking at the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna. “I hear my opponent talking about hunger, poverty. Who created it? They did! They created the hunger, they created the poverty. We are trying to eradicate it,” the President said. Abia Lady Arrested For Allegedly Conniving With Doctor To Defraud People With Financial Appeal For Fake Surgery


The lady identified as Ogechi Okechukwu, who hails from Aba, Abia State has been arrested for allegedly collaborating with a doctor to defraud people on Facebook by falsely claiming she needed money for surgery.


This false claim made some empathetic Facebook influencers unknowingly solicited for financial aid on her behalf from unsuspecting public donors who donated huge amounts of monies to the false cause. However, current investigations have revealed that the entire plea was a scam.


Ogechi, who resides in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has been apprehended after incriminating evidence of her conversations with the doctor was uncovered on her phone.


She is currently in detention as authorities continue their investigation into the fraudulent health/financial scheme.
