 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Abia Lady Arrested For Allegedly Conniving With Doctor To Defraud People With Financial Appeal For Fake Surgery


The lady identified as Ogechi Okechukwu, who hails from Aba, Abia State has been arrested for allegedly collaborating with a doctor to defraud people on Facebook by falsely claiming she needed money for surgery.


This false claim made some empathetic Facebook influencers unknowingly solicited for financial aid on her behalf from unsuspecting public donors who donated huge amounts of monies to the false cause. However, current investigations have revealed that the entire plea was a scam.


Ogechi, who resides in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has been apprehended after incriminating evidence of her conversations with the doctor was uncovered on her phone.


She is currently in detention as authorities continue their investigation into the fraudulent health/financial scheme.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
