 EFCC Arraigns Austrian For Undeclared $800,585, €651,505 At Lagos Airport The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, Okotie Eboh, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, January 9, 2026, arraigned one  Kavlak Onal, an Austrian national arrested by the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, for allegedly failing to declare the sums of $800,575 and €651,505 in his possession. He was arraigned before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi , Lagos.  Onal who was scheduled to travel on Emirates Airline to Dubai, was on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 intercepted  during a routine check at the AML/ CFT Currency Declaration Desk at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

AN ELDELY WOMAN WAS BURNT IN A CHURCH AFTER BEING ACCUSED OF PRACTICING WITCHCRAFT IN KENYA. (PHOTOS).

An elderly woman was burnt at the Bethel of Jesus Ministry International in Kapkwen after being accused of practicing witchcraft. 


According to witnesses, the woman was brought to the church with alleged magical items, including snakes, frogs, and traditional medicine.

Tragedy struck at Bethel of Jesus Ministry International in Kapkwen, Bomet, where an elderly woman was burned after being accused of practicing witchcraft.


According to witnesses, she was brought to the church along with alleged magical items, including snakes, frogs, and traditional medicine. The incident has sparked outrage, with many questioning the role of religion in justice and human rights.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
