 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja. He urged citizens to continue supporting the Armed Forces and other security agencies, noting that the Federal Government has given them a clear mandate to deal decisively with all threats to national security. “I call on all Nigerians to stand with the Armed Forces and security agencies in the quest for peace,” Musa said.  “Those who continue to support bandits, insurgents, terrorists, or criminals must desist immediately.  ‘Call me criminal, but I’ll keep fighting for black people’ – Malema tells Musk


Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has fired back at South African-born US billionaire Elon Musk, telling him that he doesn’t care about sanctions after Musk called for him to be declared an international criminal.

Musk’s remarks came after he retweeted old footage of Malema making controversial comments about “cutting the throat of whiteness.”


In response, the tech mogul demanded immediate sanctions against Malema and urged for the former ANC Youth League leader to be classified as 

an international criminal.


Reacting on social media, Malema dismissed Musk’s criticism, tweeting: “I really think you have entirely lost your left brain: a typical spoiled brat and direct beneficiary of Apartheid whiteness.

“I know black people look the same to you, typical racist. Look closer, and you will realise those are two different people. America is exposing us to its stupidity. I don’t care about your sanctions; I will never stop fighting for black people to be equal to white people, and if that makes me an international criminal, I am proud to be one.”.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
