 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja. Cardi B Secures $1.2M Repayment Plan in Defamation Case Against Tasha K


American rapper Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, has secured a $1.2 million repayment plan from media personality Tasha K as part of her $4 million defamation judgment.


According to Rolling Stone, a judge finalized the agreement on February 24, requiring Tasha K to pay $1.2 million in monthly installments over five years. While this does not cover the full amount, Cardi B retains the right to pursue the remaining balance after five years.


As part of the settlement, Tasha K agreed to stop making defamatory statements about Cardi B and her family on any platform, including podcasts and social media. However, Cardi B is not restricted from commenting on Tasha K.


Background:

Cardi B won a $4 million defamation lawsuit against Tasha K in 2022, after the YouTuber falsely claimed the rapper had herpes, used cocaine, and worked as a prostitute.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
