 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Court Dissolves 13-Year Marriage Over Domestic Abuse and Disrespect


A Lugbe Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja has dissolved the 13-year marriage between Gaminana Aminat and her husband, Musa Abdulrahab, citing allegations of disrespect and physical abuse.


Presiding judge Aliyu Kagarko granted Aminat’s request for divorce under Islamic law and directed her to observe the mandatory three-month “Iddah” period before remarrying.


Aminat told the court that her husband had been mistreating her and showing disregard for her and her parents. She alleged that Abdulrahab frequently resorted to violence over minor disagreements and insulted her family when they tried to intervene.


Despite efforts from relatives to mediate, Abdulrahab reportedly refused to change his behavior. Aminat stated that she could no longer endure the abuse, neglect, and lack of respect, prompting her decision to seek divorce.


The respondent, Abdulrahab, did not oppose the dissolution of the marriage.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
