 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  EFCC Commences Investigation of Suspected Oil Thieves, Six Trucks


The Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has commenced the investigation of seven suspected oil thieves and six trucks handed over to it by 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army on Wednesday, 

February 19, 2025.


Major D.R. Okoh , who represented the Commander,  Headquarter 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army at the handing over in Benin stated that the six trucks conveying 45,000 litres each of suspected illegal petroleum products were intercepted by troops of 4 Brigade Operation Wabaizigan at Upper Sakponba and Ologbo, along Benin Sapele Road, Benin City. According to him,  preliminary investigations showed that though they had approval to evacuate waste condensate oil, the trucks were arrested with products suspected to be condensate instead of condensate waste.


Receiving the suspects and the trucks on behalf of the Commission, Usman Abdullahi Nuhu, an deputy Superintendent of the EFCC, said the Commission will carry out further investigation to determine further line of action.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
