 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. "This life is really unpredictable, almost a decade ago, I and Wizkid used to be really close friends like besties, we were always spotted together everywhere. Popular blogs like Linda Ikeji would gossip about us that we were dating and i will just come out to deny it.


Wizzy was very young then, in his early 20's so i had that feeling of resentment of the backlash i would receive from the media. You know talks like Wizzy impregnating his big sister and all that cos i am way older than him.


I wondered how people would see me, how my friends would rate me and how my family would take it because once in a while Wizzy would jokingly tell me "See I no mind if we run am".


If i had knew he would grow this big to become the king of Afrobeats, i would have accepted o because right now he doesnt even remember we once had a thing in the past.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
