 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  IBEDC Workers’ Strike Triggers Blackout in Ogun


Workers of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) in Ogun State have embarked on an indefinite strike, citing grievances such as non-implementation of the minimum wage, unpaid pension deductions, and alleged unfair dismissal of 17 staff members.


The protest, which began on Thursday morning, has led to the closure of IBEDC offices in Abeokuta and affected electricity services across the state. The National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) insists the strike will continue until their demands are met.


IBEDC’s management has yet to respond to the workers' concerns.
