 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. ILLINOIS-AN URBANA HOME INVASION LEAVES A 7-YEAR-OLD CHILD AND A 43-YEAR-OLD MAN DECEASED. (PHOTO).


 Illinois- An Urbana home invasion leaves a 7-year-old child and a 43-year-old man deceased.


Police in Urbana responded to the report of a shooting on the 900 block of Lanore Drive. Once on the scene, police discovered a 7-year-old suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The child was immediately transported to a local hospital where he unfortunately passed away.


While investigating the crime scene, police soon discovered another victim. A 43-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot wounds near the home. He was also transported to a local hospital where he also unfortunately passed away.


Police believe the deaths are a result of a home invasion. They have not announced if there are any suspects at this time.


Officials are asking anyone with any information regarding the home invasion and subsequent deaths to please call the Urbana Police Department at 1-217-384-2320.
