 Site Engineer Killed in Delta by Employees After Discovering Large Sum of Money in His Account A gruesome murder has shaken the community in Delta State, Nigeria, where a site engineer, Chigozie Udalor, was killed by his employees after they discovered he had a substantial amount of money in his bank account.¹ According to the police spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, the incident occurred on December 10, 2024, when Udalor's cousin, Hyacinth Nnalue, reported him missing. Nnalue stated that Udalor was the site manager at his fish pond in Bod camp Akwukwu Igbo community. The police launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of two suspects, David Tacho and Daniel Orshio, on March 31, 2025. Tacho was caught attempting to withdraw money from Udalor's account using his phone. Preliminary investigations revealed that all four suspects, including two still at large, Pius Daniel and Victor Tacho, were employed by Udalor. IMO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY PARDONS AND RECALLS FOUR SUSPENDED MEMBERS. (PHOTO).


 

In a move that highlights the importance of forgiveness and second chances, the Imo State House of Assembly has pardoned and recalled four of its suspended members. The recalled members are:


- Henry Agbasonu, representing Ezinihittee Mbaise state constituency

- Chidiebube Ogbunikpa, representing Okigwe

- Dominic Ezerioha, representing Oru-West

- Sam Otuibe, representing Ahiazu Mbaise state constituency


The recall follows a positive review of the report by the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges, led by Kanayo Onyemaechi. The committee's report revealed that the suspended lawmakers had shown remorse and pleaded for leniency and forgiveness during their appearance before the committee¹ ²[3).


After presenting the report, Speaker Chike Olemgbe put the matter to a vote, which was moved by Chisom Ojukwu and seconded by Clinton Amadi. The lawmakers commended the House leadership and the Committee on Ethics and Privileges for their leniency, and the suspension was lifted following a majority vote in favor of the committee's recommendation.
