 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. JUNE 12 ELECTION: IBB ADMITS ABIOLA WAS THE WINNER. (PHOTO).

In a long-awaited disclosure, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Nigeria’s former military leader, has confirmed that the late Chief Moshood Abiola emerged victorious in the historic June 12, 1993, presidential election.


The revelation was unveiled during the launch of Babangida’s autobiography, A Journey in Service, on Thursday in Abuja. 


Former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, who reviewed the book, conveyed Babangida’s assertion that Abiola, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate, secured both the highest number of votes and the necessary nationwide support to become president. 


Babangida admitted that the decision to annul the election marked the most trying chapter of his personal and professional journey. 


He expressed satisfaction, however, that President Muhammadu Buhari later validated Abiola’s win by conferring on him the prestigious Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) title, an honor traditionally reserved for heads of state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
