 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results.  Kano Assembly Imposes ₦25,000 Fine for Public Spitting, Urination, and Littering


The Kano State House of Assembly has passed a law imposing a ₦25,000 fine on individuals caught spitting, urinating, defecating, or dumping waste on streets and under bridges in the state.


The legislation grants authority to the agency responsible for city beautification and recreational area management to enforce the new rules.


Speaking after Monday’s plenary, Majority Leader Lawan Hussaini Dala emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness in Kano, aligning it with global standards. He noted that additional penalties are also included in the law for offenders.


The Assembly also held a second reading of a bill to amend the Kano Waste Management and Environmental Sanitation Authority Act, which seeks to create an Assistant Executive Governor position.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
