  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. MOHBAD'S DEATH: COURT EXONERATES NAIRA MARLEY, SAM LARRY, PRIMEBOY. (PHOTO).

 A Magistrate Court has acquitted Nigerian singer Abdulazeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, of any wrongdoing in the death of fellow artist Aloba Oladimeji lleriOluwa, also known as Mohbad. The court's decision was based on the legal advice of the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) Lagos, which stated that Naira Marley had no case to answer.


Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje also freed music promoter Samson Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry), Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), and Mohbad's former manager, Opere Babatunde, of any involvement in Mohbad's death.


However, the DPP announced that it will prosecute Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, and Ayobami Sadiq, a friend of Mohbad's, for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. The prosecution will take place at the Magistrate Court.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
