 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  NNPC Refutes Claims of Importing 200 Million Litres of Petrol


The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has denied reports that it recently imported 200 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).


In a statement issued on Tuesday by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the company clarified that it has not imported any petrol in 2025.


Soneye dismissed the report as either “lazy and unprofessional journalism” or a “deliberate attempt by economic saboteurs to mislead the public.” He emphasized that NNPCL does not control private marketers’ import activities and described attributing all fuel imports to the company as misleading.


While reiterating that NNPCL has not imported petrol this year, the company stated that it retains the right to do so if necessary to ensure energy security.


NNPCL also condemned the spread of misinformation and warned that it would take legal action against those responsible for spreading false reports.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
