🇳🇴 Daniel Daga Sentenced by Norwegian Court, Appeals Verdict Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Norwegian court after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent. The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system. Molde FK have also confirmed that the midfielder will not be included in the club’s matchday squad until further notice while the legal process continues.

Nok University Becomes Federal University of Applied Sciences as Tinubu Orders Immediate Takeover

President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate takeover of Nok University by the federal government, renaming it the Federal University of Applied Sciences. This move aligns with the administration’s push to expand access to quality higher education and promote technical and applied sciences in Nigeria.

With this transition, the university is expected to receive federal funding, infrastructure development, and policy oversight to enhance its academic and research capabilities. The institution will now focus on applied sciences, technology, and innovation-driven education to equip students with practical skills for national development.

Further details on governance, administration, and student transition are expected in the coming days.
