  🇳🇴 Daniel Daga Sentenced by Norwegian Court, Appeals Verdict Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Norwegian court after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent. The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system. Molde FK have also confirmed that the midfielder will not be included in the club’s matchday squad until further notice while the legal process continues.

 NSCDC COMMANDANT GENERAL SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE SQAUD INTENSIFIES WAR AGAINST VANDALISM OF OIL PIPELINES ARREST 4 IN ABIA STATE.


In a continuous and relentless fight against illegal dealings in petroleum products across the oil regions the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Commandant General's Special Intelligence Squad has arrested 4 suspects for their alleged involvement in Vandalism, Crude oil theft and economic sabotage.


Following sustained Intelligence the arrest took place at Agric Waterside Camp Umuorie, Obuzor/Asa axis of Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State. 


In an interview with the Corps correspondents the CG'S SIS Boss, Commandant Appolos Dandaura hinted that the SIS operatives were massively deployed to comb the entire area where the illegal local refining of petroleum products was ongoing.


He said upon arrival at the location, 4 suspects were apprehended and that the preliminary interviews conducted at the crime scene revealed that the suspects have been deeply involved in the siphoning of crude oil after vandalising the pipelines.


"Immediately nemesis caught up with the suspects, they began to confess their involvement that after breaking the pipeline they connected hoses or galvanised pipes, bury them underground and channel the pipes to their constructed reservoirs, refining pots and storage tanks".


"Our men further made discoveries of different sizes of cooking ovens like 2 to 3 drums capacity and separate reservoirs for storing adulterated diesel and kerosene".


"The suspects arrested are Friday Akpan Ability (M) 26 years, Ifeanyi Possible Ojike (M) 36years, Ernest Odoli Onah (M) 30 years and Happy Nnamdi (M) 23years".


Commandant Appolos further relayed that the following exhibits were recovered at the crime scene: large quantities of stolen crude oil concealed in cellophane bags, Over 20,000 litres of Automotive Gas Oil and DPK, Metal and Plastic buckets, Shovels, Galvanised pipes, clothings, slippers  and funnels.


He however noted that the suspects would be appropriately charged to Court after thorough investigation.
