 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  ONISIWO FULFILLS  PLEDGE,  DONATES LAND TO LNSA MARINE UNIT


The Management of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) led by the General Manager, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, has taken possession of the parcel of Land at Tomaro Abagbo, Lagos.


The parcel of land donated by HRH Oba Alayeluwa Mohammed Musiliu Adio Yussuf, Ilufemiloye (Ogbabi II), the Onisiwo of Tomaro Abagbo, Takwa-Bay and its environs was donated in fulfilment of his earlier promise for the construction of office space for the LNSA officers in his domain to ensure the security of lives and property. 


Handing over the Land to the Agency, HRH Oba Onisiwo said, "The Land is part of my family's contribution to the continuous development of Lagos State and the ongoing progress in the LNSA", reiterating that he will not hesitate to partner more with the Agency on other matters. 


The General Manager of LNSA Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, on behalf of the State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu appreciated HRH Oba Onisiwo, just as he promised that the Agency will utilise the landed property for the good of the residents in the community and environs.
