 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Osun Crisis: Reinstated LG Chairmen Threaten Workers with Dismissal for Non-Compliance


The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has issued a 72-hour ultimatum for local government workers to resume work or face termination, following the reinstatement of its chairmen. The party accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of plotting to incite violence against the reinstated officials using Amotekun and alleged militants from Oyo and the Niger Delta.


The APC further claimed that PDP leaders, including Governors Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed, were involved in efforts to destabilize the state. It called on security agencies to investigate suspected armed groups allegedly being trained at the Chief of Staff’s residence.


Meanwhile, the Osun State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) reaffirmed its directive for local government workers to withdraw their services due to safety concerns, emphasizing its commitment to protecting workers’ rights amidst the political crisis.
