 LAGOS-IBADAN  KARA BRIDGE ACCIDENT: NO CASUALTY AS  CONTAINER TRUCK CRASHES INTO SIX VEHICLES The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has confirmed that no life was lost and no one susttained injury when a 40-foot container truck crashed into six other vehicles at Kara Bridge, inward OPIC, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Tuesday morning.  The statement says the container truck, which had no registration number, reportedly developed a mechanical fault while in motion, lost control and rammed into the other vehicles. It notes seven vehicles were involved in the crash but the LASEMA’s LRT Tiger Squad, stationed at C3, responded alongside police who moved quickly to manage the scene to prevent another accident. Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola recently welcomed Grammy-winning Nigerian artists Wizkid and Burna Boy to his Lagos mansion.


Sharing photos from the gathering on Wednesday, Otedola described the meeting as an opportunity to exchange ideas and celebrate Afrobeats' global influence.


“A true privilege to host some of our biggest music icons @wizkidayo @burnaboy at my Lagos home. Always inspiring to share ideas and celebrate the global movement that is Afrobeats …F.Ote,” he wrote on X.


The visit has stirred reactions on social media, with many users noting the absence of Davido, often regarded as part of Afrobeats’ “Big Three” alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.
