 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  Police Arrest Robbery Suspects, Recover Stolen Car and Valuables

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two suspects for allegedly robbing a Toyota Corolla, laptops, and a mobile phone.

Confirming the arrest on Wednesday, the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that officers from the Surulere Division in the Ikorodu area apprehended the suspects around 2:00 a.m. following a tipoff from the car owner.

He explained, “Police operatives swiftly responded and pursued the robbers as they attempted to escape with the stolen vehicle and other valuables. Their efforts led to the immediate arrest of two suspects and the recovery of the car, while one suspect managed to escape.”

Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, praised the officers for their swift action and directed that those involved in the arrest be commended at the command headquarters.

Additionally, he ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, for further investigation, while efforts continue to track down the remaining suspect and recover all stolen items.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
