 OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS TERRORIST INFILTRATION, DISRUPTS LOGISTICS NETWORKS, ARRESTS COLLABORATORS The Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has recorded significant operational successes in its ongoing counterterrorism and counterinsurgency campaign across the North-East. Through a combination of offensive operations, intelligence-led actions, and collaboration with local security stakeholders, troops successfully foiled a terrorist infiltration attempt and disrupted terrorist logistics and support networks, further degrading the operational capabilities of insurgent groups in the Theatre.  Police Arrest Robbery Suspects, Recover Stolen Car and Valuables

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two suspects for allegedly robbing a Toyota Corolla, laptops, and a mobile phone.

Confirming the arrest on Wednesday, the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that officers from the Surulere Division in the Ikorodu area apprehended the suspects around 2:00 a.m. following a tipoff from the car owner.

He explained, “Police operatives swiftly responded and pursued the robbers as they attempted to escape with the stolen vehicle and other valuables. Their efforts led to the immediate arrest of two suspects and the recovery of the car, while one suspect managed to escape.”

Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, praised the officers for their swift action and directed that those involved in the arrest be commended at the command headquarters.

Additionally, he ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, for further investigation, while efforts continue to track down the remaining suspect and recover all stolen items.
