 Rema Becomes First African Artist on Rolling Stone Cover Nigerian music star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has made history as the first African artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The American publication, renowned for its coverage of music, politics, and pop culture, announced Rema as the cover star for its April 2025 edition. Mavin Records celebrated the achievement on Instagram, calling him the “Afrobeats Visionary.” Following the announcement, Rema delivered an electrifying performance at the Rolling Stone concert, thrilling audiences with hits like Dumebi, Woman, and Calm Down. PREGNANT WOMAN LOST HER LIFE AFTER DOCTOR USED A YOUTUBE VIDEO FOR OPERATION.(PHOTO)

A heartbreaking incident has unfolded in Imo State, where a pregnant woman lost her life during a Cesarean Section (CS) operation allegedly performed by a doctor who relied on a YouTube video for guidance.


The deceased woman's husband, Onyekachi Eze, reported the incident to the Imo Police Command, accompanied by Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop. Eze revealed that the tragic event occurred at Lebechi Hospital in Owerri, the state capital.


According to Eze, his wife was in labor, and the doctor on duty deemed an operation necessary due to bleeding. However, in a shocking turn of events, Eze claimed that the doctors used their phones to watch a YouTube video on how to perform the surgery in his presence.


To make matters worse, Eze lost both his wife and unborn child during the botched operation. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many calling for accountability and improved medical standards.


Following the report, the police arrested the owner of Lebechi Hospital, as well as some nurses, while the doctors involved in the operation reportedly fled the scene. An investigation is currently underway to apprehend the absconded doctors and determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
