 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  RIVERS STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE:


THE RIVERS STATE POLICE COMMAND COMMENCED ENFORCEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY VEHICLE INSURANCE POLICY.


The Rivers State Police Command has commenced enforcement of the Third-Party Vehicle Insurance Policy, effective today, February 1, 2025. This move is in line with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM.


The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State, CP Olugbenga A Adepoju, psc, mnips has tasked officers to maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity during the enforcement. He warned against any misconduct that could tarnish the Police image, emphasizing severe sanctions for non-compliance.


The CP while encouraging vehicle owners to obtain the Third-Party Insurance cover promptly, solicited the maximum cooperation of members of the public. 


The enforcement team consists of Divisional Traffic Officers,(DTOs), members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, ?NURTW) and Staff of the Rivers State Board of Internal Revenue.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
