The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered).  Giyani Man Released on Bail After Brutal Zebra Killing; Second Suspect Still at Large


A man accused of hacking a zebra to death in Giyani has been released on R1,000 bail following his first court appearance.


The shocking incident, captured on video, shows two individuals using an axe to repeatedly strike the helpless animalā€™s head while it was trapped in a wire fence. The footage has sparked outrage among animal rights organizations and the public.


The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) is actively pursuing the arrest of a second suspect, who is believed to be residing in another province. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to bring all those responsible to justice.
