 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. SENATE NAMES SENATOR AUSTIN AKOBUNDU VICE CHAIRMAN OF AIR FORCE COMMITTEE. (PHOTO).

The Nigerian Senate has appointed Senator Austin Akobundu as the Vice Chairman of its Committee on Air Force. The announcement was made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during a recent plenary session.


Senator Akobundu, who represents Abia Central Senatorial District, brings a unique combination of military experience and legislative expertise to his new role. His appointment is expected to strengthen the Senate's oversight of the Air Force and support efforts to enhance its capabilities.


As Vice Chairman of the Committee on Air Force, Senator Akobundu will work closely with other committee members to ensure effective governance and oversight of the Air Force. His experience and knowledge will be invaluable assets in shaping policies and decisions that impact the nation's air defense.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
