Neighbours Identified as Prime Suspects in Gruesome Murder of 3 Siblings in Nnewi

The new Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr. Livingstone Urutugu, has revealed that the killers of three siblings found stuffed inside a refrigerator in Nnewi are residents of the same vicinity. Urutugu made this statement during his visit to the bereaved family, where he vowed to unmask the perpetrators and ensure justice is served.

Barely two hours after assuming office, Urutugu headed to Nnewi to emphasize his commitment to reducing crime and criminality to its lowest level. He commended police officers for their efforts in combating crime and assured them of continued support.

Urutugu stressed the importance of collaboration with sister security agencies, vigilante groups, and community stakeholders to enhance crime prevention and intelligence deployment. He urged the public to remain vigilant and law-abiding, pledging that the Police would take a firm stance against all forms of criminality.

The CP concluded with a warning to those involved in crime, saying, "For those who have been misled into crime, this is a warning to retrace your steps. The command will deal squarely with all acts of criminality, regardless of status."
