 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  War: Russia launches 267 drones into Ukraine


No fewer than 267 drones were launched into Ukraine on Saturday night by Russia, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed on Sunday.

The incident occurred amid preparations by both nations to mark three years since Moscow launched its full-scale invasion of its western neighbor.

According to ABC News, the 267 drone attacks were the largest of such bombardments, breaking the previous record of 193 drones set in a December attack.

The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement on its Telegram channel that it shot down 138 Shahed attack drones, while 119 others were lost in flight.

The Odesa military administration also reported that at least three people were injured by a drone strike.

Emergency services said that one person was also injured in Zaporizhzhia.
