Freddie Jackson, R&B Legend Behind “You Are My Lady” and “Rock Me Tonight,” Dies at 70 R&B has lost one of its most unmistakable voices. Freddie Jackson, the singer whose smooth delivery helped define romantic R&B during the 1980s and gave generations of listeners songs including “You Are My Lady,” “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)” and “Have You Ever Loved Somebody,” has died. He was 70. Jackson’s death was announced Tuesday, October 6, through his verified Instagram account. According to the memorial shared by his family and team, the singer died Monday night, October 5. The announcement did not disclose a cause of death. “It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Freddie Jackson,” the statement read, describing the singer as a generous soul who loved his fans, family, friends and music.  Yobe Governor, Mala Buni sets to complete Nigeria's biggest modern Truck Transit Park in Potiskum. 


It would provide direct jobs to more than 5000 people.....


The project is one of the numerous capital projects initiated by Gov. Mai Mala Buni in his efforts to improve the economy of the state by improving revenue generation, providing job opportunities to thousands of Yobeans.  


As it's undeniable that Potiskum is the destination of trucks in the country, the project would help to promote safety and security of cargoes and haulage vehicles while in transit, reduce pilferage and theft of cargoes, etc. 


As proposed by Gov. Buni administration, the Potiskum TTP would contain the following facilities: 

1. Fuel & Gas station

2. Banking facilities

3. Mechanic Workshop

4. Recreation centres

5. Motel / Hotels 

6. Garage parking slots

7. Safety/ security officers

8. Fire fighters 

9. Electricity and water supply

10. Clinic

11. Well designed road network

12. Training centres 

13. Shops.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
