 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  Yobe Governor, Mala Buni sets to complete Nigeria's biggest modern Truck Transit Park in Potiskum. 


It would provide direct jobs to more than 5000 people.....


The project is one of the numerous capital projects initiated by Gov. Mai Mala Buni in his efforts to improve the economy of the state by improving revenue generation, providing job opportunities to thousands of Yobeans.  


As it's undeniable that Potiskum is the destination of trucks in the country, the project would help to promote safety and security of cargoes and haulage vehicles while in transit, reduce pilferage and theft of cargoes, etc. 


As proposed by Gov. Buni administration, the Potiskum TTP would contain the following facilities: 

1. Fuel & Gas station

2. Banking facilities

3. Mechanic Workshop

4. Recreation centres

5. Motel / Hotels 

6. Garage parking slots

7. Safety/ security officers

8. Fire fighters 

9. Electricity and water supply

10. Clinic

11. Well designed road network

12. Training centres 

13. Shops.
