The credibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voters’ register has come under intense scrutiny ahead of the 2027 general elections, following revelations by INEC Chairman Professor Joash Amupitan that names of deceased persons remain on the register. Amupitan disclosed that names of voters who died as far back as 15 years ago are still listed, a situation critics say could undermine the integrity of the 2027 polls and lead to significant financial waste through the printing of excess ballot papers and other election logistics. The INEC chairman made the revelation while receiving the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Abisoye Coker-Odusote, and her management team during a courtesy visit in Abuja on Wednesday. Amupitan announced that INEC has entered into a partnership with NIMC to deliver a credible voters’ register and transparent elections. He said INEC would leverage NIMC’s robust data archi...

A FLORIDA MAN THOUGHT HE KILLED HIS EX, NOT KNOWING HE KILLED AN INNOCENT WOMAN. (PHOTOS).

A Florida man THOUGHT he was chasing down his ex to end her life ...but chased the wrong car and killed an innocent woman! Of course, his ex was also an innocent woman.

The incident occurred on March 9th in St. Petersburg. On that evening, 33-year-old Kyle Hill got into a heated argument with his ex-girlfriend. During the argument his ex fled from Kyle Hill in her friend's vehicle.

Hill decided he was going to chase down his ex and have his vengeance. Unfortunately Hill saw a Honda that was the same make and model but a different color and began aggressively chasing the innocent occupants.

The car he was chasing was being driven by 28-year-old Arislenni Blanco-Medina and her boyfriend, Norbelis Figueredo-Campos. The pair had no connection to Hill whatsoever and quickly grew frightened by his aggressive driving. At one point Arislenni called her father and 9-year-old son and exclaimed, "He's going to kill me!"

Hill, for his part, called his ex while chasing the wrong car and screamed, "I got you. I'm going to k*** you, your friend and myself".

Eventually during the dramatic high speed pursuit, Hill was able to force Arislenni's vehicle off of the road. Her vehicle struck a concrete pole that fell onto the vehicle and took the life of Arislenni Blanco-Medina and seriously injured the passenger, Figueredo-Campos.

Hill lost control of his own vehicle during the incident and crashed into a tree. When he was arrested he had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit.

Kyle Hill was initially charged with DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide. However the state upgraded the charges to first-degree murder on Wednesday March 12th.

Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
