 ASUU–ABSU SUSPENDS THREE-WEEK-OLD INDEFINITE STRIKE The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Abia State University Branch, wishes to inform the University community, all stakeholders and the general public that, following the resolution of Congress held today, Friday, 28th August, 2026, the Branch has suspended its three-week-old comprehensive industrial action with immediate effect. The decision of Congress followed a careful assessment of developments since the commencement of the strike and, particularly, the concrete steps taken towards addressing some of the major issues that necessitated the industrial action. Foremost among these is the full implementation of the 2025 FGN–ASUU salary structure, including the Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA), which has now been reflected in the August 2026 salaries of academic staff of Abia State University. A LOUISIANA MOTHER IS FACING MURDER CHARGES AFTER BEATING HER 8-MONTH-OLD CHILD UNTIL HE PASSED AWAY. (PHOTO)..

 A Louisiana mother is facing murder charges after beating her 8-month-old child until he passed away... The precious baby is pictured below.


24-year-old Autumn Harper (last picture) was taken into custody on the morning of Wednesday, March 19th, on one count of first-degree murder.


These charges come after authorities were called to Riverside Medical Center approximately a week ago. At that time, staff informed police they had an 8-month-old boy who had suffered multiple severe injuries. His injuries included multiple broken bones and healing breaks from earlier traumas.


The baby boy was transferred by helicopter to Children's Hospital where he sadly succumbed to his injuries on March 17th.


After talking to multiple eyewitnesses, police were able to identify Autumn as their number one suspect in the death of the child.


Autumn Harper is being held without bail. 


Our deepest condolences and most sincere thoughts are with everyone who loved this precious 8 month old baby boy. May he rest in peace finally.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
