 Beloved actor Ras Ajai, 47, 'shot dead' while walking down a street A beloved film star and musician has di£d. Ras Ajai, whose real name was Brian Todd Boucher, played JLP political enforcer Claudie Massop in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love biopic. He was reportedly shot in Waterford, St. Catherine, Jamaica, at the age of 47. He rubbed shoulders with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they arrived at the movie's Jamaican premiere. Another person is reported to have sustained injuries during the assault, which remains under investigation by St Catherine South Police. Sources say the reggae and dancehall artist, vocalist and composer was walking down a street with a companion on Saturday, August 1, when they were attacked by armed criminals travelling in a vehicle.  Abducted Afenifere National Youth President Eniola Olajuni regains freedom


National President of the Afenifere Youth Council Eniola Olajuni has been released after 12 days in kidnappers’ den.

Olajuni confirmed this himself in a short clip that was posted on X.

“I have been released,” he said while being driven in a car.

“I was released in Ibilo, Edo State. I was released this evening.”

Olajuni was kidnapped on Monday, 17 February 2025, on his way to Abuja for a meeting.

His abductors demanded N100 million and two tricycles as ransom for his release.

On Wednesday, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, ordered the deployment of the Intelligence Response Team, IRT, to secure Olajuni’s safe release.

Before then, a video went viral showing Olajuni at gunpoint, pleading for Nigerians to come to his aid and raise funds for his release.
