 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  'Come To APC And I'll Praise You More', Akpabio Woos Abia Governor, Otti, 


Senate President Godswill Akpabio has praised Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, for his outstanding performance in office, particularly in celebrating Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe's 70th birthday. Akpabio made these remarks at the birthday ceremony organized by the Abia State Government, where he described Otti as a generous leader whose goodwill has positively impacted the welfare of the people of Abia.


Akpabio commended Otti's decision to honor Abaribe despite their political differences, stating that it shows Otti understands politics and has endeared himself to the people of Abia. He also praised Otti's political acumen, saying that honoring Abaribe was a strategic move that has won the hearts of the people of Abia South.


However, Akpabio's praise came with a hint of politics, as he suggested that Otti would receive even greater recognition if he joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). "The day you join the APC, you will hear my full praise and see how I will celebrate you," Akpabio said.
