 "It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth". Njideks Akunyili is the daughter of Dora Akunyili, who was the Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) of Nigeria from 2001 to 2008.  Commercial motorcyclist comimits suicide after wife left with children


A commercial motorcyclist simply identified Papa Ejime has reportedly killed himself after he allegedly drank a substance suspected to be an insecticide.


The incident occurred on Sunday morning at Oghara, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.


It was learnt that the deceased  k!ļļed himself after his marriage crashed recently.


It was gathered that the deceased, a chronic gambler always beat his wife anytime he failed to win.


Neighbours who craved anonymity said early this year, the deceased punched his wife on the mouth, causing her teeth to fall out.


According to the neighbours, before the marriage crashed, his wife has been footing all the bills including house rent, feeding and children school fees.


They added that the woman left the house with her children due to issues relating to domestic violence.


The neighbours also pointed that several attempts by the deceased to bring his wife back failed, before he reportedly took his own life.
