 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said.  Eleven Killed, 12 Injured as Bus Overturns in Southern Mexico


At least eleven people lost their lives, and twelve others sustained injuries after a bus overturned in southern Mexico, authorities reported.


The Oaxaca state government stated that the cause of the crash, which occurred near the town of Santo Domingo Narro, is still under investigation.


Expressing his condolences, Oaxaca Governor Salomon Jara assured that support and assistance would be provided to the victims' families.


Speaking on local radio, Interior Minister Jesus Romero revealed that the bus was carrying over 40 passengers and was en route to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.


Initial reports suggest that the passengers were returning home after attending a political rally in Mexico City organized by President Claudia Sheinbaum on Sunday.
