 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

ELON MUSK WELCOMES 14TH CHILD.(PHOTO).

 Elon Musk welcomes 14th child


The CEO of X, Elon Musk, has welcomed his 14th child with Shivon Zilis, with whom he already has three children.

Musk made this known in a joint announcement with Zilis on Friday.

Zilis, who did not reveal when the baby was born, said his name is Seldon Lycurgus.

In a post on her X handle, Zilis wrote: “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share about our wonderful and incredible son, Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold.”

In response, Musk simply replied with a love emoji.

This marks the fourth child for Musk and Zilis together.

The duo welcomed their twins, Strider and Azure, in November 2021, followed by the birth of another child, Arcadia.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
