  Tragedy Strikes As Promising Councillor Hon. Chukwuma Okpalauzuegbu Is Laid To Rest On Intended wedding Day  By Charity Ejiofor  A day that was meant to mark a joyful union has instead become one of deep sorrow for family, friends, and the Aguata community, following the sudden passing of Hon. Chukwuma Christopher Okpalauzuegbu, the councillor representating Amesi Ward. Hon. Okpalauzuegbu fondly known as Chuma, had been preparing to celebrate his wedding ceremony, an event filled with hope, promise and carefully laid plans. Loved ones, and sponsors, ready to stand beside him as he embark on a new chapter of life. In an unexpected and heart breaking turn of events, those dreams were cut short. Jandor Resigns from PDP, Cites Lack of Accountability Among Party Leaders 


Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership and lack of accountability.  


In a statement shared on his official page, Jandor expressed disappointment that those who worked against the party during elections are now in key leadership positions. He questioned how party members could trust such individuals in future elections.  


Following extensive consultations with his family, political associates, and supporters, Jandor stated that the decision to leave PDP was a difficult but necessary step. However, he reaffirmed his commitment to Lagosians, promising to continue advocating for policies that will improve the state, regardless of political affiliation.  


He assured his supporters that this move marks the beginning of a new chapter, emphasizing sincerity, progress, and service to the people. Jandor also hinted at engaging with stakeholders to determine his next political direction.
