 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. GEORGIA MOM STOPS AN ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING OF HER 2-YEAR-OLD IN A WILD TUG OF WAR IN A WALMART. (PHOTO).

 Georgia mom stops an attempted kidnapping of her 2-year-old son in a wild tug of war in a Walmart. 


Caroline Miller was shopping at her local Walmart in Acworth, Georgia when she was thrust into one of the most disturbing struggles of her life.


On that particular day Caroline was using a motorized cart because her 4-year-old daughter had wanted a ride . As she navigated the store with her 2 children, 56-year-old Mahendra Patel approached the young family. Patel asked Caroline for help locating the Tylenol in the store. When Caroline lifted her arm to point Patel in the right direction, the predator decided to pounce. 


Patel reached out and grabbed ahold of Caroline's 2-year-old son, Jude. Patel was successful in removing Jude from Caroline's lap, however he had underestimated this momma bears response.


Caroline immediately responded by also grabbing Jude and the tug of war began. The entire time Caroline was exclaiming, "What are you doing?"


Once Patel realized he was in a competition he was sure to lose he released his grasp on Jude and beat a hasty retreat.


911 was called and police soon arrived at the location to the report of someone trying to snatch a toddler. 


Once on scene, investigators quickly determined the suspect had purchased his Tylenol and fled the scene. Through security footage and surveillance footage they were able to identify Mahendra Patel as the suspect.


A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was picked up by authorities on Friday, March 21st. Patel is being charged with simple battery, simple assault and kidnapping. 


He is currently being held in the Cobb County Jail without bond.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
