 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  Governor Namadi Reinstates Aide Following Investigation


Governor Umar A. Namadi has lifted the suspension of his Special Adviser on Salary and Pension, Bashir Ado Kazaure, with immediate effect.


A statement by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, confirmed the decision, citing the findings of a committee led by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Bello Abdulkadir Fanini.


The committee investigated Kazaure’s suspension, which was linked to an early disclosure of a proposed N70,000 minimum wage. The SSG stated that the reinstatement reflects Governor Namadi’s commitment to fairness and due process in governance.
