 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Governor Sule Inspects Accommodation Facility For 2025 Nasarawa Intending Pilgrims In Saudi 


Governor Abdullahi Sule of the Nasarawa State has inspected an accommodation facility in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 intending muslim pilgrims from the State, his personal assistant on social media, Comrade Godwin Rimi said in a statement on Sunday afternoon. 


The Governor who conducted the inspection alongside the Executive Secretary of the state's Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Idris Al-Makura expressed satisfaction with the quality and closeness of the facility to the Holy Mosque in Makkah. 


Speaking earlier, Mallam Idris Al-Makura, lauded the Governor for prioritizing the welfare of pilgrims. 


Al-Makura noted that the accommodation facility is the most closest and one of the best among Nigeria's thirty-six states and the FCT, Abuja for 2025 hajj.
