Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive.  HEALTH DISTRICT IV EXPANDS ACCESS TO FAMILY PLANNING MATERIALS


The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District IV, Dr/ Abimbola Bowale has ensured the adequate distribution of Family Planning Materials, to all Primary Health Care Centres across the four Local Government (LG) and five Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) under its coverage areas.


According to him, the initiative aims to ensure wider access to essential family planning resources, promoting reproductive health services. “By equipping Primary Healthcare centres with these materials, the district is enhancing its commitment to supporting families, helps address local health needs, which invariably improves overall community well-being, making Reproductive Health/ Family Planning (RH/FP) services more accessible and efficient for residents in all areas.


The items were received by the respective Officers in Charge (OIC) at the Akerele PHC Surulere.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
